Program Rules & Account Management
Can I sell or transfer my points?
No. Points are non-transferable. Accounts may be terminated if irregular behavior is detected, including duplicate account creation.
If I join the program, am I automatically subscribed to marketing emails?
No. Joining the rewards program does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails. Email preferences can be managed separately from your rewards page.
What happens if I delete my account? Do I lose my points?
Yes. Deleting your account permanently erases all point history and tier progress. You may create a new account and rejoin, but all progress will reset.
Is there a support contact if I think my points or tier are incorrect?
Yes. Please contact our support team at customersupport@swissgear.com for assistance with point or tier discrepancies.
What happens if the program ends? Will I receive a cash equivalent for my unused points?
No. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. We recommend redeeming your points while the program is active.
Are there additional terms I should be aware of?
Yes. Participation in the SWISSGEAR Insider loyalty program is also subject to the general Terms and Conditions of SWISSGEAR.com.
Points on Orders, Returns & Vouchers
What happens if I return part of an order I redeemed points on? Do I lose all the points or just a portion?
You may be eligible to receive a portion of your points back. To request this, please contact our customer service team at customersupport@swissgear.com.
What happens if I no longer want to use a voucher? Can I get my points back?
If you decide not to use a voucher or reward, you can contact our customer service team at customersupport@swissgear.com to have the points returned to your account.
If I return something I purchased using points, do I get those points back?
Yes. You can get your points back, but you will need to contact our customer service team at customersupport@swissgear.com to request the adjustment.
Tiers & Eligibility
How is my tier calculated — by calendar year or based on when I joined?
The tier is calculated based on when you joined the program.
Do I still get points if I check out as a guest?
Yes. Purchases made as a guest are still eligible for points as long as you reach out within one month of the purchase date.
Where can I check my point balance and tier status?
You can view your points and tier status in your Shop account dashboard, in the email updates sent after each purchase, and on the rewards page when signed in.
Can I combine points from two different accounts or merge accounts with the same name or email?
No. We do not support account merging and reserve the right to terminate any rewards program account in cases of irregular behavior, such as creating duplicate accounts.
Referrals
Do I still get the referral reward if my friend forgets to use my link but makes a purchase?
Unfortunately, no. Your friend must use the referral code or link at checkout; otherwise, we will not be able to track the purchase or apply the reward.
Is there a limit to how many friends I can refer?
No. You can refer as many friends as you want.
Availability
Is the rewards program available outside of the US?
The program is currently only available on www.swissgear.com.
Points Expiration & Limits
Do points ever expire? If so, when and how do I find out?
Yes. Points expire 12 months from the date of issuance.
Is there a limit to how many points I can earn per month or year?
No. There is no cap on points earned. Once the essential rules are completed, points are awarded based on total spend and completed activities.
Redeeming Points
Is there a minimum order value required to redeem points?
Yes. Minimum spend requirements vary based on the type of reward, such as checkout rewards, referrals, or discount vouchers. We reserve the right to modify these thresholds at any time.
Can I use my points and a promo code or discount at the same time?
Points and discount codes cannot be combined unless stated otherwise in a specific promotion.
Can I apply points toward taxes or shipping, or only the product subtotal?
Points can be applied only to the product subtotal.
Past Purchases & Timing
Can I get points for a past purchase I made before joining the program?
Yes. Please contact our customer support team at customersupport@swissgear.com for more information on points from past purchases.
How often are my points updated after a purchase? Is it instant or only after my order?
Points are updated after each purchase and appear in your Shop account dashboard, in email updates after each purchase, and on the rewards page when signed in.
